Elm Park Road, Chelsea
Elm Park Road, Chelsea

The brief for this early Victorian, white stucco fronted, house was to take off the existing roof, enclosing as it did rooms with limited ceiling height and substitute with a mansard roof which would allow better headroom. This was the opportunity to improve the bedroom on the top floor and to install a new shower room and dressing room.

The full house was then decorated and the lower ground floor, where signs of structural movement had been found, was underpinned and structural problems corrected before a new kitchen, dining space and library were installed.
